Integrations reference: providers and operations

Updated Sep 30, 2026
Every integration Anythink supports — Google Calendar, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, X, Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, Grok, Calendly and Fireflies — with auth types and workflow operations.

This page lists the integration definitions seeded into every project. To connect one, see Connect your first integration; for how connections work, see How integrations work. Operation inputs are the exact field names the Integration step's inputs object expects. Check each operation's schema in the Anythink dashboard (Operation dropdown) or with anythink integrations get <provider> for defaults and enum values.

Providers

Provider provider key Category Auth type Parent provider Social sign-in Operations
Google google Authentication OAuth2 — Yes None (auth only; shares credentials with Google Calendar)
Google Calendar google-calendar Calendar OAuth2 google No 5 — see below
Slack slack Communication OAuth2 — No 2 — see below
GitHub github Developer Tools OAuth2 — Yes 10 — see below
LinkedIn linkedin Social OAuth2 — Yes 1 — see below
Twitter / X twitter Social OAuth2 — No 1 — see below
Apple apple Authentication OAuth2 — Yes None (auth only)
Claude AI claude AI API key — No 5 — see below
Gemini (Google) gemini AI API key — No 3 — see below
OpenAI (ChatGPT) openai AI API key — No 6 — see below
Grok (xAI) grok AI API key — No 5 — see below
Calendly calendly CRM API key — No None (webhook-driven — see below)
Meeting notes (Fireflies) meeting-notes CRM API key — No 3 — see below

Note: Gmail and Google Drive are not yet available as integrations, despite following the same google parent-provider grouping when they ship.

Operations by provider

Google Calendar

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Create Event create-event summary, startDateTime, endDateTime location, timeZone (default UTC), addGoogleMeet (boolean, default false), attendees (email list), organizer (email), description
List Events list-events — calendarId (default primary), timeMin, timeMax, maxResults (default 10)
Get Event get-event eventId calendarId (default primary)
Update Event update-event eventId summary, description, startDateTime, endDateTime
Delete Event delete-event eventId sendUpdates (default all)

Slack

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Send Message send-message channel, text thread_ts to reply in a thread, unfurl_links (default true)
Send Direct Message send-direct-message user, text user is a Slack user ID

GitHub

Operation key Required inputs Notes
List Commits list-commits repo sha, path, author, since, until, per_page (1–100, default 30). Single page — loop with since/until for more.
List Pull Requests list-pull-requests repo state (open | closed | all), sort, direction, per_page. Single page.
List Releases list-releases repo per_page. Single page.
List Issues list-issues repo state, labels, since, per_page. Excludes pull requests. Single page.
Get File Contents get-file-contents repo, path ref (branch/tag/SHA, defaults to the default branch). Binary files return binary: true and no decoded content.
Get Repository Tree get-repo-tree repo tree_sha (defaults to the default branch). Recursive; truncated results set truncated: true.
List GitHub Actions Runs list-workflow-runs repo workflow, branch, status, event, head_sha, per_page. Omit workflow to list runs across all workflows.
Create or Update File create-or-update-file repo, path, content, message branch (defaults to the repo's default branch), sha (required to update an existing file — without it the call 422s if the path already exists). Returns the new content sha and the commit sha.
Create Branch create-branch repo, branch source_ref (branch name or 40-character SHA, defaults to the repo's default branch)
Open Pull Request open-pull-request repo, title, head, base body, draft (boolean, default false), maintainer_can_modify (boolean, default true). Returns the PR number and html_url.

repo is a owner/name string; the field is dynamic in the dashboard, so it's a searchable dropdown of the connected account's repositories rather than free text.

LinkedIn

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Create Post create-post text visibility (PUBLIC | CONNECTIONS, default PUBLIC)

Twitter / X

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Create Tweet create-tweet text reply_to (a tweet ID, to post as a reply)

Claude AI / OpenAI (ChatGPT) / Grok (xAI)

Same operation set across all three AI providers, except OpenAI, which adds image generation:

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Generate Text generate-text prompt system_prompt, model, max_tokens
Analyse Image analyse-image image_url prompt (default "Describe this image in detail."), model, max_tokens
Analyse Document analyse-document content content_type (text | pdf, default text), prompt, model, max_tokens
Summarise summarise content format (paragraph | bullets | tweet | linkedin, default paragraph), max_length, model, max_tokens
Translate translate content, target_language source_language (default "auto-detect"), tone (formal | informal | technical), model, max_tokens
Generate Image (OpenAI only) generate-image prompt size (1024x1024 | 1024x1792 | 1792x1024), model (default dall-e-3), quality (standard | hd)

Note: These AI operations run through each provider's own API using the connection's stored API key. They're distinct from the AI sidebar's chat feature, which can optionally use the same claude/openai/grok connection in bring-your-own-key mode instead of the platform's shared AI quota.

Gemini (Google)

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Generate Text generate-text prompt system_prompt, model, max_tokens
Analyse Image analyse-image image_url prompt (default "Describe this image in detail."), model, max_tokens
Analyse Document analyse-document content content_type (text | pdf, default text), prompt, model, max_tokens

Note: Gemini isn't a parent_provider of Google or Google Calendar — it's a standalone API-key provider, unrelated to the google OAuth definition used for sign-in and Google Calendar.

Calendly

Calendly has no callable operations. Connect it with an API key, then point Calendly's invitee.created and invitee.canceled webhook events at the callback URL the connection screen shows, to log booked and cancelled meetings to the CRM timeline.

Meeting notes (Fireflies)

Operation key Required inputs Notes
Fetch transcript fetch-transcript — Retrieves the full transcript and summary for a finished meeting by id
List recent transcripts list-transcripts — Recent meeting transcripts for the connected workspace
Process webhook payload process-webhook — Turns a raw Fireflies webhook body into a flat result suitable for chaining with a Log Communication step

Required permission

Every integrations endpoint (browsing definitions, managing connections, configuring OAuth) requires anythink_integrations:read, :create, :update or :delete as appropriate. In the dashboard, the Settings › Integrations page itself is restricted to project administrators, regardless of a non-admin role's granted permissions.

Surface support

Surface Definitions & connections Connect (API key) Connect (OAuth) Enable/disable, disconnect
Dashboard Yes Yes Yes (redirect-based) Disconnect only
CLI Yes (integrations list, get) Yes (integrations connect) Yes (integrations oauth connect, local browser callback) Yes (enable, disable, disconnect)
MCP (stdio) Yes, via the generic cli tool Yes, via cli Yes, via cli (needs a local browser, so stdio mode only) Yes, via cli
MCP (hosted HTTP) Not supported Not supported Not supported Not supported

Limit: The hosted Anythink MCP server's cli tool only implements entities, fields, data, workflows, users, roles, secrets, files, fetch and docs in HTTP mode — integrations isn't one of them, so it returns "not supported in HTTP mode". Run the MCP server locally in stdio mode (anythink-mcp, shelling out to the real CLI) to manage integrations through an AI assistant.
