Customise the Anythink DashboardUpdated Aug 27, 2025Anythink is designed to do anything, and that includes customising it to look exactly the way you want it to. We want Anythink to be come "yours", customise Anythink to feel like it's your one-stop place to manage everything within your business..Visiting "Organisation Settings" within the settings tab will give you the ability to set the name, brand colours and even logos for your Anythink dashboard, this will allow you to change the style and colour from our default settings to one that feels custom to your business.Name & DescriptionSetting the name and description for your platform will allow you to change the name of your instance from "Anythink" to "Luke's" and your description to "The best coffee in Stars Hollow" or whatever you'd like. Something that fits for your business.RegistrationsFrom the organisations' settings you can also choose if you would like to allow registrations, and what role you'd like them to be available to. We go more into Roles in the Authentication section, but here is where you can choose whether you would like your API to accept registrations, and what the default role is you'd like your registrations assigned to such as customer, staff member or vendor. The availability of this option will allow you to speed up the assignment of a user to a role.LogosSetting the standard logo will allow you to replace the wide Anythink text icon that you see with the left sidebar open, and the square logo will replace the icon only icon that you see with the sidebar closed. We recommend that you try and stick to the same dimensions for the best results.Light vs. DarkYour dashboard can always be viewed in light or dark mode and that is a user preference.ColoursYou can choose your primary colour, this will allow automatically change all the button colours, icons and highlights to create a common vibe for your organsiation and you can set the grey scale as well, this will allow you to adjust the background of boxes and cards that appear throughout the dashboard - this one is a subtle one.
